I saw Fiction Plane for the first time on the Broken Music tour in 2006 with Sting and was impressed by their quality. I saw them again with the Police in Amsterdam in September 2007 and I heared the new songs from their new album Left side of the brain and was blown away by the great songs.Â
On December, 19th 2008 I visited their concert in Tivoli in Utrecht and sa w a band who was suprised of the fans who were amazing enthousiastic!
Now I have seen them many times and had the opportunity to interview them a few times and to film backstage at Paradiso on Dec. 7 last year.
I expect this band to become one of the greatest bands in 2009 and want to share my enthousiasme with every fan in the world. |

My name is Christa Rusbach, and I live in The Netherlands. I first saw Fiction Plane live at the Bospop festival in June 2006. Before the festival, I hadn’t even heard of the band or heard any of their music. Their gig turned out to be, for me, one of the highlights of the festival! A couple of months later, I came across their MySpace page. Two Sisters played through my computer speakers and I knew I had to hear more of Fiction Plane. I bought the new CD, and found myself listening to it continously. December last year I could finally see them playing live again, at the Tivoli in Utrecht and at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. After these gigs, I was even more hooked than before. The band is really good live, and they turned out to be really nice people as well.
Besides Fiction Plane, I am a fan of Marillion, Dave Matthews Band and of A Day’s Work. |
